Greetings earthlings

I've been painting a lot of new content recently. I am preparing to switch out my haze painting with a new painting. I'm grateful for the support this community has shown me. Art is a lonely practice but you learn to work with what is given to you. Strength and weaknesses is apart of learning what works. I find patience and effort means so much to artist's confidence. The key to success is hard work and responsibility. What drives you to make a piece of art or writing that makes you happy and respect your creativity process?

I resumed my Art Practice in painting a year ago after nearly fifty years of not making visual art. I decided to make it a daily practice, and hold myself accountable by sharing it publicly on social media. This year I bought several Beechmore Sketchbooks and will continue to make are every day and publish about the previous week's work on Monday. I will also write at least weekly about my life and art and publish it on Facebook. I set up a DBA as Practicing Art and got my sales tax certificate. I am now a "working" Independent Artist. Being disciplined and persistent in my Art practice has enriched my life and improved my work. That's "happiness" from my perspective.
